New mold shop and presses bring additional capacity

Due to market demands for shorter time-to-market, cost optimization and increasingly complex designs, Jehle AG has decided to take this into account and move one of the company’s core assets, the Tool and Mold Making Know-How Center, in the direction of Industry 4.0.

In record time, the new technology center, the tool and mold shop was planned, built and occupied.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place in April 2018, and the first reining work was able to begin as early as December 2018. The building has been fully occupied and in operation since mid-January 2019.

“An impressive building” or “it’s nice and bright to work here” are feedbacks we hear again and again from our customers and employees.

We are proud to be able to continue on this path in Switzerland and look forward to implementing further projects with you in our new Technology Center.

New automatic punching press from Andritz Kaiser

The ultra-modern plant with a press force of 1600 kN is equipped with a servo drive and a high-performance strip feeding system and can score with the following qualifications:

• Table size (max. tool size): 2000 x 800mm
• max. Pressing force: 1600 kN
• Stroke rate: 30 – 350 1/min

With our investment, we secure all the advantages of servo technology combined with a modern, precise and powerful automatic punching press.

In record time, the new technology center, the tool and mold shop was planned, built and occupied.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place in April 2018 and the first rein work could already begin in December 2018. The building has been fully occupied and in operation since mid-January 2019.
